Welcome to the website of Cuckoo's Nest Art & Craft Fairs.
As potters (www.cuckoosnestpottery.co.uk) we have been exhibiting at craft fairs for over 25 years and this has given us a strong insight into what makes a good (and bad) craft fair, both from the exhibitors' and the visitors' point of view.
We organise fairs with genuine arts and crafts, presented and exhibited by the makers themselves. We personally vet all exhibitors to ensure that there are no bought in, mass produced or franchised products displayed or sold.
We keep costs as low as we can, but we do not organise 'cheap fairs'. We believe exhibitors deserve the very best showcase we can possibly provide, and we advertise extensively. We always do our best to cater for your individual requirements.
We aim for as wide a variety as possible, with minimum duplication of crafts. The more popular crafts are booked up very quickly so it is essential that you contact us early to ensure a place. We are always happy to receive enquiries from people with unusual or unique work.
Our fairs are advertised as Art and Craft Fairs, and we welcome enquiries from artists in all media.
Admission is free at Oakham and Market Harborough, and £1 at Syston in aid of LOROS Hospice .
Fairs are open to the public from 10.30am - 4.30pm, with setting up from 9.00am on the day of the fair. In some instances it is possible to set up the day before, by prior arrangement.
